The Partridge Family: Season 4
More musical adventures with TV's favorite rock 'n roll family! The family tries (unsuccessfully) to conserve energy. Laurie poses as Keith's date to make other girls jealous, but the plan backfires. Danny wants to impress a girl by telling her rabbi father that the Partridges are Jewish - and the whole family is invited to dinner. Shirley tries to hire a maid, but it's all in the family when her mother shows up to apply.
Danny Bonaduce was consistently the not-so-hidden asset of The Partridge Family. His upbeat, money-driven antics offered a refreshing contrast to the self-satisfied morality lessons and overly sentimental themes plaguing many sitcoms of the early 1970s. His youthful skepticism was particularly essential during the show's fourth and final season, as recycled storylines and forced cheerfulness began to take over. The most glaring warning sign was the introduction of an adorably bright young character: Ricky Segall, a four-year-old neighbor whose saccharine children's songs often brought episodes to a grinding halt. The other cast members were left to smile broadly at this unwelcome foreboding of a Partridge decline. Fortunately, Segall's role was soon minimized to cameo appearances at the end of episodes, allowing the show’s reliable strengths to resurface: David Cassidy's teen idol allure, Shirley Jones' surprisingly wholesome appeal, Susan Dey's spirited feminism, the quirky blend of catchy pop tunes and borscht belt humor, along with Bonaduce's ribbiting sarcasm.
Strange patterns characterize the fashion styles: Jones dons maxi-dresses and some peculiar vibrant wimples, while everyone's hairstyles have taken on an astonishingly elaborate flair (Keith's puffy mullet is particularly noteworthy). The show features numerous guest stars who would later become prominent on television, such as Pat Harrington (One Day at a Time), Robert Mulligan (Soap), and Cheryl Ladd (Charlie's Angels), as well as both established movie stars, like Margaret Hamilton (The Wizard of Oz), and rising stars like Jackie Earle Haley (just a few years away from fame with The Bad News Bears). Therefore, even with indications of age and a looming cancellation, the fourth season still offers many delights and should not be overlooked by its fans.

Games that came out PRIOR to XP or higher will not specifically state they will work on that release, but only because they came out before those versions were made. Many, if not most, will work on XP or higher with a few quick adjustments. We provide instructions with all items purchased on how to do this adjustment using the Program Compatibility Wizard. If we find out that an item will definately not work on a specific version, we will state it. For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program if the Program Compatibility Wizard does not work.
64-Bit Windows OS Systems:
For 64-bit Operating Systems, older games most likely will NOT work due to 64-bit systems not being able to run 16-bit programming code (most games prior to 2000). For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program.
Macintosh Systems:
For Macintosh programs, most older games will need to be run in Classic Environment if you have a MAC OS X 10.0 - 10.4 version. Please research Google on how to do this, or send us a message for information prior to purchasing. If your MAC OS system doesn't support Classic Environment (ie. MAC OS X 10.5 or Higher OR Intel Macs), you will have to try running it using the free program called SheepShaver, but compatibility is not ensured. Please research prior to purchasing or ask questions.
