Suzy Bannion, a young American ballet student, arrives in Freiburg, Germany during a torrential downpour to study at the co-ed Tanz Dance Akademie, a prestigious German dance school. When Suzy arrives, she encounters another student, Pat Hingle, as she flees the school in terror. Suzy is then refused entry to the school, and she’s forced to stay in town until the next morning. Pat takes refuge at a friend's apartment and reveals to her that something sinister is happening at the school. She’s ambushed by a shadowy figure with demonic hands who stabs her repeatedly in the heart six times. They drag her to the roof of the apartment building before hanging her with a noose by throwing her through the building's skylight. Pat’s friend is also killed after being impaled by the falling debris while trying to alert other tenants to the murder. The next morning, Suzy then returns to the school. She meets Miss Tanner, the head instructor of the school, and Madame Blanc, the school's deputy headmistress. Tanner introduces her to Pavlos, one of the school’s servants, before leading Suzy into the girls’ locker room, where she introduces her to her classmates. She meets Olga, her new roommate, and fellow student Sarah. Later on, Suzy experiences an unsettling encounter with one of the school's matrons and Blanc's nephew, Albert, before she loses consciousness during a dance class. When Suzy regains consciousness, she finds that Olga’s thrown her out of her apartment, which forces Suzy to reside at the school, with Sarah living in the room next door. While the students are preparing for supper one night, maggots suddenly rain down from the ceiling, forcing all of the students to sleep in one of the dance studios. During the night, a woman enters the room but is obscured by a curtain hung around the room's perimeter; Sarah is frightened by her hoarse and labored breathing, and she recognizes the woman as none other than the school’s directress. The school's blind pianist, Daniel, is abruptly fired by Miss Tanner when his German Shepherd bites Albert. That night, Daniel’s stalked by an unseen force while walking through a plaza; his dog then turns on him and viciously rips his throat out.At the school, Sarah tells Suzy that she was the one on the intercom who’d refused her entry the night Pat was murdered. She says that Pat was behaving strangely before her death, and she promises to show Suzy the notes that she left to Sarah. Sarah finds that Pat’s notes are missing, Suzy suddenly loses consciousness and Sarah is forced to flee just before an unseen assailant enters the room. They pursue Sarah through the school before cornering her in the attic; she barely manages to escape through a small window before she falls into a pit of razor wire which entangles her, allowing her pursuer to kill her by slashing her throat.Suzy looks into Sarah’s disappearance the next morning, and Tanner tells her that Sarah has fled the school. Suspicious, Suzy contacts Sarah’s friend and former psychiatrist, Frank Mandel. He reveals that the school was established by a Greek émigré, Helena Markos, who was allegedly a witch. Suzy also consults with Professor Milius, a professor of the occult. He reveals that a coven of witches should perish without their leader, from whom they draw power. When Suzy returns to the school, she finds that everyone has left to attend the Bolshoi Ballet without her. After being attacked by a bat and remembering what she’d helped Sarah figure out about the footsteps, she follows the sound of them carefully, which lead her into Madame Blanc's office. Finally remembering that Pat had uttered the words The secret! I saw it behind the door! and Three irises! Turn the blue one! the night that she was killed, Suzy discovers a hidden door that opens by turning the blue iris on a mural located in Blanc's office. Suzy enters the corridor before finds the academy’s instructors, led by Blanc, plotting her demise. Albert then alerts a servant, Pavlos, to Suzy's presence. Suzy backs away into a hidden alcove behind a curtain, and she discovers Sarah’s disfigured corpse before hiding in another room. She finds the woman Sarah claimed to be the directress sleeping on a curtained bed. Suzy then deduces that she is Helena Markos, and after she tries to flee with Pavlos heading her way, Suzy knocks into a decorative bird with crystal plumage that awakens Markos. Markos taunts Suzy before she reanimates Sarah’s mutilated corpse to murder her. Flashes of lightning inadvertently reveal Markos's silhouette, and Suzy impales her through the neck with one of the bird’s fallen glass peacock quills. Markos's death causes Sarah’s corpse to disintegrate and vanish.Suzy flees as the school begins to fall apart. Madame Blanc, Miss Tanner, Pavlos and the rest of the coven perish without the power of Markos remaining. Suzy escapes into the rainy night as the school’s consumed by fire, and she laughs maniacally in relief before smiling.

WHAT YOU GET:
This item is for the original media, and includes only the media (ie. CD, floppy ...) UNLESS specifically stated above and/or in the title. If more than just the media is included, it will state which items are (ie. box, manual, etc ). Items that come in a sleeve refer to a generic CD sleeve (typically white) and will be sent with shipping protection to avoid damage during transit. If available, we will also send the front and/or back CD inserts if in stock. If these are important to you, please message us to verify we have them available to send. Please do not assume items are included other than what's stated. Again, ask questions PRIOR to purchasing if you have any concerns.
IMAGES:
All images/pictures are stock photos and are for reference only, mainly to show the type of game you will be getting. Please read "WHAT YOU GET" for what is included with the media. Screenshots may vary based on your own computer system, video card, monitor, etc.
COMPATIBILITY:
Computers are like people, each one is different. Unlike console games, a computer game may install and work flawlessly on one system but may need adjustments on another. This is due to a variety of factors, mainly the OS platform running, video card you have, drivers, protection software installed, etc. Many times manufacturers release updates to games to fix bugs and add enhancements. We would be happy to help get the game going on your computer, but ultimately compatibility issues are the responsibility of the buyer. We suggest going to Google and searching for the name of the game along with the words "system requirements" to determine if your system is suitable. Ultimately, we are not responsible for software compatibility problems or publisher's errors.
PLATFORM:
Stated within the auction is what platform the game will work on (ie. Windows, Mac, Linux...) This is a generic statement and specific platform versions (ie. XP, Vista...) will have to be researched by the buyer. Games that came out PRIOR to XP or higher will not specifically state they will work on that release, but only because they came out before those versions were made. Many, if not most, will work on XP or higher with a few quick adjustments. We provide instructions with all items purchased on how to do this adjustment using the Program Compatibility Wizard. If we find out that an item will definately not work on a specific version, we will state it. For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program if the Program Compatibility Wizard does not work.
64-Bit Windows OS Systems:
For 64-bit Operating Systems, older games most likely will NOT work due to 64-bit systems not being able to run 16-bit programming code (most games prior to 2000). For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program.
Macintosh Systems:
For Macintosh programs, most older games will need to be run in Classic Environment if you have a MAC OS X 10.0 - 10.4 version. Please research Google on how to do this, or send us a message for information prior to purchasing. If your MAC OS system doesn't support Classic Environment (ie. MAC OS X 10.5 or Higher OR Intel Macs), you will have to try running it using the free program called SheepShaver, but compatibility is not ensured. Please research prior to purchasing or ask questions.
MEDIA FORMAT:
Please verify you have the required hardware in order to use the specified media (ie. CD, DVD, floppy drives, etc.) If the item comes as a floppy disc, make sure you have either the needed 3.5" floppy drive or the bigger and older 5.25" floppy drive.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A SMOOTH PURCHASE:
Ask questions PRIOR to purchasing an order to avoid any confusion.
Be patient if there are problems during installation or gameplay. Typically someone else has
already ran into that problem and has listed a solution online. Contact us and we will do our best to help.
Be sure to update your video card drivers and search for updates to the game from the manufacturer.
