VOLUME 1: THE WORLD'S LARGEST CRUISE SHIPS

They didn't set out to buil the world's largest cruise s en a ideas, reams and visions ofw at they wanted to see on board were assembled, the development team realized only the biggest cruise ships in the world would accommodate them. The Oasis class ships—Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas—have revolutionized modern ship building. Steeped in a philosophy that innovation and imagination contrib-ute to a remarkable cruise vacation, Royal Caribbean once again raised the bar with the Oasis class ships. On board, the new neighborhood concept lets vacationers seek out experiences based on their personal styles, preferences or moods. In this documentary, you'll explore the Boardwalk—a breathtaking space for families inspired by the nostalgic seaside piers of yesteryear, and the "AquaTheater," the first amphitheater at sea. You'll also visit the cruise line's signature Royal Promenade—a classical arcade and town square—where light flows through glass canopies from the revolution-ary Central Park above with its architecture open to the sky. You'll discover that there's a place for everyone—young or old—whether seeking solitude and relaxation or lively activities—day or night. In this unique behind-the-scenes documentary, you'll follow the architects and ship builders as they come together to create Oasis of the Seas—a man-made wonder of the seas.

VOLUME 2: DESIGNED FOR SAFETY

INTERNATIONAL Sister ships, Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, are hands-down the two largest cruise ships in the world today. With 16 decks, 5,400 guests at double occupancy in 2,700 state rooms and 2,200 crew members, they've been called floating cities. Onboard safety may be taken for granted by some guests but never by Royal Caribbean International, where safety comes first. Before these ships ever sail, architects and engineers have taken them through rigorous testing. The safety tests are extensive and dramatic. The hull is tested by inflicting damage to the world's largest scale models. In wind tunnels, storms are mimicked to analyze the comfort on top decks. During sea trials the ships' maneuverability is pushed to the edge, far beyond what cruising guests experience. The Oasis class ships also include the world's largest rescue vessels. Though they may never be used, they've undergone extreme testing to ensure they can withstand the worst possible conditions and still take passengers to safety. In addition, the bridge crews are tested in simulations where they face an array of complications handling the ships. In this documentary film, we follow engineers and crews as they design and test the Oasis class ships for safety.

VOLUME 3: WELCOME ABOARD

Ro alCaribbean INTERNATIONAL Other ships have been called "cities at sea." However, the expression fits Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas more than any other ships before. They are cities at sea! And like other cities, they have neighborhoods that express local identities. With the unique open atrium concept and Central Park full of thousands of plants and trees, passengers might feel like they never left land. The tranquility of the park is different from the bustling quarters where young and old enjoy shopping, music and entertainment—Broadway musicals, 3-D movies, DreamWorks Animation partnership, dance and disco, stand-up comedies and ice skating shows. While some prefer to relax, others enjoy the multitude of sporting activities offered indoors or on upper decks. With dozens of restaurants, every palate and mood is satisfied. Guests can find it all on board, from hamburgers to gourmet cupcakes; from the first Starbucks at sea to Asian specialties and fine dining. And as in other cities, there are thousands of unsung heroes who make sure the ship is safe, clean and meeting the highest environmental standards on the oceans. With its Save the Waves' program, Royal Caribbean sets an example in minimizing its environmental footprint. The Advanced Water Purification system cleans wastewater before it is discharged—with standards higher than most cities can achieve. Energy conservation is key, with the goal to reduce, recycle and reuse other materials on board. Nothing's wasted. Oasis class ships lead the industry with their onboard environmental technology. This fascinating documentary explores a 48-hour period aboard Oasis of the Seas, with visits to every neighborhood and behind-the-scenes footage that most guests never see.

WHAT YOU GET:

This item is for the original media, and includes only the media (ie. CD, floppy ...) UNLESS specifically stated above and/or in the title. If more than just the media is included, it will state which items are (ie. box, manual, etc ). Items that come in a sleeve refer to a generic CD sleeve (typically white) and will be sent with shipping protection to avoid damage during transit. If available, we will also send the front and/or back CD inserts if in stock. If these are important to you, please message us to verify we have them available to send. Please do not assume items are included other than what's stated. Again, ask questions PRIOR to purchasing if you have any concerns.

IMAGES:

All images/pictures are stock photos and are for reference only, mainly to show the type of game you will be getting. Please read "WHAT YOU GET" for what is included with the media. Screenshots may vary based on your own computer system, video card, monitor, etc.

COMPATIBILITY:

Computers are like people, each one is different. Unlike console games, a computer game may install and work flawlessly on one system but may need adjustments on another. This is due to a variety of factors, mainly the OS platform running, video card you have, drivers, protection software installed, etc. Many times manufacturers release updates to games to fix bugs and add enhancements. We would be happy to help get the game going on your computer, but ultimately compatibility issues are the responsibility of the buyer. We suggest going to Google and searching for the name of the game along with the words "system requirements" to determine if your system is suitable. Ultimately, we are not responsible for software compatibility problems or publisher's errors.

PLATFORM:

Stated within the auction is what platform the game will work on (ie. Windows, Mac, Linux...) This is a generic statement and specific platform versions (ie. XP, Vista...) will have to be researched by the buyer. Games that came out PRIOR to XP or higher will not specifically state they will work on that release, but only because they came out before those versions were made. Many, if not most, will work on XP or higher with a few quick adjustments. We provide instructions with all items purchased on how to do this adjustment using the Program Compatibility Wizard. If we find out that an item will definately not work on a specific version, we will state it. For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program if the Program Compatibility Wizard does not work.

64-Bit Windows OS Systems:
For 64-bit Operating Systems, older games most likely will NOT work due to 64-bit systems not being able to run 16-bit programming code (most games prior to 2000). For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program.

Macintosh Systems:
For Macintosh programs, most older games will need to be run in Classic Environment if you have a MAC OS X 10.0 - 10.4 version. Please research Google on how to do this, or send us a message for information prior to purchasing. If your MAC OS system doesn't support Classic Environment (ie. MAC OS X 10.5 or Higher OR Intel Macs), you will have to try running it using the free program called SheepShaver, but compatibility is not ensured. Please research prior to purchasing or ask questions.

MEDIA FORMAT:

Please verify you have the required hardware in order to use the specified media (ie. CD, DVD, floppy drives, etc.) If the item comes as a floppy disc, make sure you have either the needed 3.5" floppy drive or the bigger and older 5.25" floppy drive.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A SMOOTH PURCHASE:

  • Ask questions PRIOR to purchasing an order to avoid any confusion.
  • Be patient if there are problems during installation or gameplay. Typically someone else has already ran into that problem and has listed a solution online. Contact us and we will do our best to help.
  • Be sure to update your video card drivers and search for updates to the game from the manufacturer.

  • SHIPPING:

We typically ship all items out within 1-2 business days after payment is received. In regards to the stated shipping and handling, remember that these costs include more than just postage.

International buyers please email/chat with us to determine if you are eligible for shipping of a specific product. Additionally, international orders typically have to go through governmental customs, which can delay the arrival process. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges.
