From award-winning director Michael Apted, MARRIED IN AMERICA 2 is the second film in an ongoing documentary about the challenges of marriage in the 21st century. In 2001, Apted shot the first installment, which featured nine very different soon-to-be-married couples discussing how they met, their views on sex, divorce, children, and their dreams for the future. Drawing on his experience directing the 7UP films that have tracked a group of British people over 42 years ( Cinema s longest-running and most fascinating experiment! - The New York Times) Apted sought a cross-section of American marriages to reflect the changing nature of the institution: women making more money than their husbands, divorced people re-marrying and blending their families, an increase in interfaith and bi-racial couples, and the controversial brave new world of same-sex marriage.
Five years after the first film, Apted revisits the nine couples to find out how they have coped with the twists and turns of married life: the arrival of children, job changes, the need to move, income disparity, and how to find the time for intimacy when both partners are working flat out.

If you are a fan of Michael Apted's ongoing 'Up' series you are going to love 'Married in America 2'. Using the same formula, Apted has been following 9 diverse couples who differed in religion, social stature, race, and age for the past 5 years. Overall, the happy couples lives haven´t changed much, but Apted has had enough experience, though, to understand that even simple observations still resonate with the viewer and draw you into their lives and in a short time you will be was hooked. Apted maintains an even-handed, non-judgmental approach, letting his subjects simply speak for themselves no matter how questionable some of their decision-making skills might be making for non-stop viewing. I can't wait to see what happens in the couples lives in the Married in America 3. --Benin

Games that came out PRIOR to XP or higher will not specifically state they will work on that release, but only because they came out before those versions were made. Many, if not most, will work on XP or higher with a few quick adjustments. We provide instructions with all items purchased on how to do this adjustment using the Program Compatibility Wizard. If we find out that an item will definately not work on a specific version, we will state it. For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program if the Program Compatibility Wizard does not work.
64-Bit Windows OS Systems:
For 64-bit Operating Systems, older games most likely will NOT work due to 64-bit systems not being able to run 16-bit programming code (most games prior to 2000). For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program.
Macintosh Systems:
For Macintosh programs, most older games will need to be run in Classic Environment if you have a MAC OS X 10.0 - 10.4 version. Please research Google on how to do this, or send us a message for information prior to purchasing. If your MAC OS system doesn't support Classic Environment (ie. MAC OS X 10.5 or Higher OR Intel Macs), you will have to try running it using the free program called SheepShaver, but compatibility is not ensured. Please research prior to purchasing or ask questions.
