Marimar is an innocent girl who lives with her grandparents, who are very poor. Marimar sometimes has to steal food to eat. One day, she is caught stealing from the Ibanez hacienda. The foreman catches her in the act and tries to take advantage of her, telling her she can take what she stole if she lets him have his way, but she resists and is heard by Sergio, the spoiled son of the house. He defends her and tells her that underneath her appearance, she is 'beautiful'. Marimar falls in love with him at first sight. However, Sergio plans to take revenge on his family for not giving him half of the inheritance, and plans to marry the 'dirty girl from the beach' to humiliate his family. Amazed, Marimar agrees to marry him without knowing that her father, a very wealthy man who abandoned her mother, is searching for her to make her his heir.

If we find out that an item will definately not work on a specific version, we will state it. For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program if the Program Compatibility Wizard does not work.
64-Bit Windows OS Systems:
For 64-bit Operating Systems, older games most likely will NOT work due to 64-bit systems not being able to run 16-bit programming code (most games prior to 2000). For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program.

For Macintosh programs, most older games will need to be run in Classic Environment if you have a MAC OS X 10.0 - 10.4 version.
